HiTrans it's a simple software that uses numerical modeling to solve unsteady flow elastic equations in pressurized pipelines transporting any fluid

HiTrans is a numerical model accurate and easy to use, to help hydraulic engineers with the task of protecting pipeline systems against "water hammer". Water hammer is the name commonly given to rapid pressure fluctuations developed in a pressurized pipe when the flow suddenly changes.

HiTrans4 latest version is now 4.1.1 and includes:

⇾ A new boundary condition is added to the program, consisting of a loading chamber or oscillation tank, which also allows a constant flow input or withdrawal to be considered, especially useful for sizing loading or unloading chambers.

⇾ New features for modelling air valves. HiTrans now models air valves with any of those alternativas: normal air valve, air valve with antislam or air valve with an ideal antislam (only air entrance is modelling).

⇾ Now, when the right mouse button is pressed, the context menu allows you to copy the table data to the clipboard, as well as the images of the different graphs available in HiTrans.

⇾ The control routine for errors entered by the user is improved.

⇾ HiTrans graphic interphase has been upgraded for entering the model

⇾ New graphics interphase for showing the results of the moldelling, with several graphics improvements.

⇾ Now it is possible for all the users in one PC to use the program with the same license.

⇾ Automatic reindex for nodes and components.

⇾ Significative digits in the result can be set by the user.

⇾ Several minor changes to improve stability and performance.
