HiTrans is an easy to use numerical model to solve transient flows in closed pipes (phenomenon known as "Water hammer").
Solve transient flow in complex pipelines composed up to 100 pipes and many devices: Valves, Pumps (4 quadrants), Surge tank, Feed tanks, Air vessel and more.
An accurate and easy to use software to solve the most useful application of open channel hydraulics in any cross-section channel.

HiCalc can handle channels with any cross section but it also has the most common cross-section predefined
The new interface and strong algorithm helps the user to get an accurate and straightforward solution. HiCalc handles calculations with: water depths, discharge, manning roughness, slope and specific energy.
HiCalc easily solves: Uniform Flow (example: infinite channels), Gradually Varied Flow (example: backwater curves), Several situations of rapidly varied flow (energy and momentum transitions, weirs, gates, and more).
